Bio
Growing up in Marlboro, VT, the natural world has always been a source of strength and place of healing and refuge. Eating veggies and fruit from mom’s garden, fish and venison from dad’s hunting, and feeling the warmth and care from my Babcia’s (grandmother’s) hands on my upset tummy, all led me to becoming a healer. I’ve also spent my lifetime healing my own trauma.
Outside of the office I enjoy books, film and television, gardening, having fun playing and cuddling with my kitties, and exploring our gorgeous Green Mountain state with my mom.
Philosophy
There is no ‘right’ way to live a healthy life. Achieving our health goals and living our best life requires a multifaceted approach and an open mind. Both Western and Eastern medicine, as well as spiritual and psycho-emotional practices, all support us in our path to wellness. Most importantly for me, has been accepting help.
Experience I have spent the last 25 years in direct patient care as an herbalist, massage practitioner, acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.
After living in California for 14 years, during which I recieved my master’s in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and spent 11 years providing care in the SF Bay area, I returned to my roots, here in VT to care for and enjoy my mom’s twilight years and frolic in these rolling Green Mountains with my mom.
