Community Acupuncture
Community acupuncture is done in a group setting in order to improve accessibility and affordability. Recipients sit in reclining chairs in loose clothing (rolled up to the knees and elbows) and receive acupuncture only on the legs, arms, and head. For centuries these so-called ‘distal’ points (acu-points on the head, arms and legs) have been used to treat all the same ailments as points located on the torso. For instance, we can treat back pain with acupoints on the hands, or neck pain with acupoints on the feet. We believe (and have seen with our own eyes) that there is a group healing effect that happens when we receive treatment in this kind of setting.
How to choose your payment amount: Pay what you can within our sliding-scale of $30 - $65. We gratefully accept cash (exact amount only please, we are not able to make change) and personals checks when you can - this helps us save on credit card fees. More than anything we want you to get the care you need, so pay what you can and how you can.
If you are having trouble meeting our sliding scale, talk to us at your next appointment and we will find a payment and treatment plan to meet your needs.

Small Business Health Plan
We know that Vermont small businesses are the life-blood of our economy, and that they are hard work with slim profit margins. Offering benefits and health plans can be challenging or simply out of reach to some. We want to help. We have two options:
-
Small business owners can pre-pay (five or more) for treatments to be used by their employees at a reduced rate of $20 per treatment with no cost to employees or;
-
Small businesses can pledge to subsidize their employees’ treatments: employees pay a flat rate ($15) directly to the clinic and we will invoice the business monthly for the remainder (between $15-$50 per treatment, sliding scale - you decide!). Employers can opt to cap monthly treatments (for instance - 10 per month).
To enroll in our small business health programs or find out more, email us at info@casobu.org
Food Drive Fridays
On the last Friday of every month, bring in two non-perishable items for $5 off your treatment or four items for $10 off. Donations are given to the South Burlington Food shelf.

Our ear acupuncture days are donation based group clinics. Everyone receives the same five ear acu-points in one or both ears. These points help reduce cravings and rejuvenate your wired and tired nervous system.
Appointments are helpful but not required. You’ll be asked to sign an informed consent sheet when you arrive. New and return patients welcome! Ear Acupuncture Days occur 1-2 times a month. Scroll to the bottom of this page or check our events page and Instagram for upcoming free days.
Come experience the peaceful power of ear acupuncture with your neighbors!
